Vulnerability in Cisco routers versions 8.2 through 9.1 allows remote attackers to bypass access control lists when extended IP access lists are used on certain interfaces, the IP route cache is enabled, and the access list uses the "established" keyword.
The weakness was presented 12/10/1992 as CSCdi34061 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at cert.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-1999-1466. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
