A vulnerability was found in OpenCats up to 0.9.4-2 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown function in the library lib/DocumentToText.php of the component XML Data Handler. The product processes an XML document that can contain XML entities with URIs that resolve to documents outside of the intended sphere of control, causing the product to embed incorrect documents into its output. lib/DocumentToText.php in OpenCats before 0.9.4-3 has XXE that allows remote users to read files on the underlying operating system.
