A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Mozilla Thunderbird up to 60.7.0 (Mail Client Software). This vulnerability affects the function parser_get_next_char of the component iCal Handler. The manipulation as part of a Email Message leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. A flaw in Thunderbird's implementation of iCal causes a heap buffer overflow in parser_get_next_char when processing certain email messages, resulting in a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 60.7.1.
