Use of uninitialized stack variables in the start_decoder function in stb_vorbis through 2019-03-04 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service or disclose sensitive information by opening a crafted Ogg Vorbis file.
The weakness was released 08/15/2019 (GitHub Repository). The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2019-13220 since 07/03/2019. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
