A vulnerability has been found in Zoho ManageEngine ManageEngine OpManager up to 12.4x (Network Management Software) and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown functionality of the file jsp/NewThresholdConfiguration.jsp. The manipulation of the argument resourceid as part of a Parameter leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. An issue was discovered in Zoho ManageEngine OpManager through 12.4x. There is a SQL Injection vulnerability in jsp/NewThresholdConfiguration.jsp via the resourceid parameter. Therefore, a low-authority user can gain the authority of SYSTEM on the server. One can consequently upload a malicious file using the "Execute Program Action(s)" feature.
The weakness was presented 08/16/2019. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2019-15104 since 08/15/2019. The attack can be launched remotely. A single authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
