The manipulation of the argument report as part of a Directory leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. An issue was discovered in LibreNMS 1.50.1. An authenticated user can perform a directory traversal attack against the /pdf.php file with a partial filename in the report parameter, to cause local file inclusion resulting in code execution.
