A vulnerability was found in ProJoom Smart Flash Header up to 3.0.2 on Joomla (Joomla Component) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code block of the file views/upload.php. The manipulation of the argument Filename as part of a Parameter leads to a unrestricted upload vulnerability. views/upload.php in the ProJoom Smart Flash Header (NovaSFH) component 3.0.2 and earlier for Joomla! allows remote attackers to upload and execute arbitrary files via a crafted (1) dest parameter and (2) arbitrary extension in the Filename parameter.
The bug was discovered 02/04/2014. The weakness was disclosed 11/13/2019. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-1214 since 01/07/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy.
