An XSS vulnerability on Technicolor TC7300 STFA.51.20 devices allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script via the "Connected Clients" field to /wlanAccess.asp. An intranet host can use a crafted hostname to exploit this.
The weakness was presented 11/13/2019. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2019-17524 since 10/12/2019. The attack may be initiated remotely. The requirement for exploitation is a simple authentication. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
