The bug was discovered 05/07/1999. The weakness was shared 05/07/1999 with L0pht as MS99-013 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). It is possible to read the advisory at microsoft.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-1999-0738. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
