A vulnerability was found in Microsoft IIS 4.0 (Web Server) and classified as critical. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the file code.asp. The bug was discovered 05/07/1999. The weakness was shared 05/07/1999 with L0pht as MS99-013 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). It is possible to read the advisory at microsoft.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-1999-0738. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1068 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
