The OmniHTTPD visadmin.exe program allows a remote attacker to conduct a denial of service via a malformed URL which causes a large number of temporary files to be created.
The weakness was shared 06/05/1999 by FIRST as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-1999-0970.
