A vulnerability was found in Ricoh MarcomCentral (version now known). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the file FPProducerInternetServer.exe. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. A directory traversal and local file inclusion vulnerability in FPProducerInternetServer.exe in Ricoh MarcomCentral, formerly PTI Marketing, FusionPro VDP before 10.0 allows a remote attacker to list or enumerate sensitive contents of files. Furthermore, this could allow for privilege escalation by dumping the local machine's SAM and SYSTEM database files, and possibly remote code execution.
