A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in rConfig (affected version not known). Affected is the function exec of the file ajaxArchiveFiles.php of the component System. The manipulation of the argument path as part of a System Command leads to a os command injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-78. An issue was discovered in rConfig 3.9.3. A remote authenticated user can directly execute system commands by sending a GET request to ajaxArchiveFiles.php because the path parameter is passed to the exec function without filtering, which can lead to command execution.
The weakness was disclosed 01/06/2020. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2019-19509 since 12/02/2019. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. A authentication is required for exploitation.
