A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Samba up to 4.9.17/4.10.11/4.11.4 (File Transfer Software). Affected by this issue is the function realloc. There is a use-after-free issue in all samba 4.9.x versions before 4.9.18, all samba 4.10.x versions before 4.10.12 and all samba 4.11.x versions before 4.11.5, essentially due to a call to realloc() while other local variables still point at the original buffer.

The weakness was released 01/21/2020 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is available at bugzilla.redhat.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2019-19344 since 11/27/2019.
