A vulnerability has been found in Symmetricom SyncServer S100, SyncServer S200, SyncServer S250, SyncServer S300 and SyncServer S350 2.90.70.3 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the file kernlog.php. The manipulation of the argument FileName with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Symmetricom SyncServer S100 2.90.70.3, S200 1.30, S250 1.25, S300 2.65.0, and S350 2.80.1 devices allow Directory Traversal via the FileName parameter to kernlog.php.
