A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Froxlor up to 0.10.13. This issue affects the function _createUserdataConf in the library install/lib/class.FroxlorInstall.php of the component Temp File Handler. An issue was discovered in Froxlor before 0.10.14. It created files with static names in /tmp during installation if the installation directory was not writable. This allowed local attackers to cause DoS or disclose information out of the config files, because of _createUserdataConf in install/lib/class.FroxlorInstall.php.
The weakness was presented 03/09/2020. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2020-10236 since 03/09/2020. An attack has to be approached locally. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
