A vulnerability was found in GPAC up to 0.7.x and classified as problematic. This issue affects the function gf_list_count of the file libgpac.a. An issue was discovered in libgpac.a in GPAC before 0.8.0, as demonstrated by MP4Box. It contains an invalid pointer dereference in gf_list_count in utils/list.c that can cause a denial of service via a crafted MP4 file.
The weakness was disclosed 03/24/2020. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2019-20631 since 03/24/2020. The attack may be initiated remotely.
