cgiproc CGI script in Nortel Contivity HTTP server allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a malformed URL that includes shell metacharacters.
The weakness was disclosed 01/17/2000 by John Daniele (FIRST) (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2000-0064. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
