Frontpage Server Extensions allows remote attackers to determine the physical path of a virtual directory via a GET request to the htimage.exe CGI program.
The weakness was disclosed 02/03/2000 by nemo (Website). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2000-0122. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
