The web administration interface for CommuniGate Pro 3.2.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) attack.

The weakness was published 07/17/2000 by Lluis Mora and Fermin J. Serna with S21SEC as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2000-0634. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
