A vulnerability has been found in i-net Clear Reports, HelpDesk and PDFC (Reporting Software) (the affected version unknown) and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown part of the component Documentation. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. The documentation component in i-net Clear Reports 16.0 to 19.2, HelpDesk 8.0 to 8.3, and PDFC 4.3 to 6.2 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to read arbitrary system files and directories on the target server via Directory Traversal.
