A vulnerability was found in SolarWinds MSP PME Cache Service up to 1.1.14. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the file MSP\SolarWinds.MSP.CacheService\config\ of the component Advanced Monitoring Agent. The manipulation of the argument SISServerURL as part of a Parameter leads to a default permission vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-276. An issue was discovered in SolarWinds MSP PME (Patch Management Engine) Cache Service before 1.1.15 in the Advanced Monitoring Agent. There are insecure file permissions for %PROGRAMDATA%\SolarWinds MSP\SolarWinds.MSP.CacheService\config\. This can lead to code execution by changing the CacheService.xml SISServerURL parameter.
