A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Red Hat CloudForms up to 5.11.6.x (Cloud Software). This issue affects an unknown part of the component Role-Based Access Control. Red Hat CloudForms before 5.11.7.0 was vulnerable to the User Impersonation authorization flaw which allows malicious attacker to create existent and non-existent role-based access control user, with groups and roles. With a selected group of EvmGroup-super_administrator, an attacker can perform any API request as a super administrator.
The weakness was released 08/11/2020 as Bug 1855739 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). It is possible to read the advisory at bugzilla.redhat.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2020-14325 since 06/17/2020. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
