A vulnerability was found in Rapid7 Metasploit Framework (version unknown) and classified as problematic. This issue affects the function get_keychains of the component enum_osx module. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-23. The Metasploit Framework module "post/osx/gather/enum_osx module" is affected by a relative path traversal vulnerability in the get_keychains method which can be exploited to write arbitrary files to arbitrary locations on the host filesystem when the module is run on a malicious host.
