This issue was addressed by encrypting communications over the network to devices running iOS 14, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14, and watchOS 7.
A public exploit has been developed by Dany Lisiansky/Nikias Bassen (@danyl931/@pimskeks) in C/Obj-C/Go/Python and been published 2 weeks after the advisory. It is possible to download the exploit at github.com. It is declared as functional. We expect the 0-day to have been worth approximately $25k-$100k.
Upgrading to version 14.0 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
