A vulnerability has been found in OpenSC up to 0.20.0 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects the function sc_oberthur_read_file of the component Oberthur Smart Card Software Driver. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a buffer overflow vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-120. The product copies an input buffer to an output buffer without verifying that the size of the input buffer is less than the size of the output buffer, leading to a buffer overflow.
