statsconfig.pl in OmniHTTPd 2.07 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via the mostbrowsers parameter, whose value is used as part of a generated Perl script.

The weakness was disclosed 03/12/2001 (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2001-0113. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
