A vulnerability was found in GlobalUsage Extension up to 1.35.1 on MediaWiki and classified as problematic. This issue affects the function WikiMap::makeForeignLink of the file SpecialGlobalUsage.php. The manipulation of the argument page with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-79. The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users. Impacted is integrity.
