A vulnerability was found in Lotus Domino Mail Server 5.0.5 (Groupware Software). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the component RCPT TO Handler. Buffer overflow in Lotus Domino Mail Server 5.0.5 and earlier allows a remote attacker to crash the server or execute arbitrary code via a long "RCPT TO" command.

The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2001-0260. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
