A vulnerability was found in Sun Solaris 2.0 (Operating System). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects an unknown function of the file /opt/JSparm/bin/perfmon of the component GUI. /opt/JSparm/bin/perfmon program in Solaris allows local users to create arbitrary files as root via the Logging File option in the GUI.
The weakness was presented 06/18/2001 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2001-0403.
