A vulnerability was found in Way To The Web Talkback 1.1. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file talkback.cgi. Directory traversal vulnerability in talkback.cgi program allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the article parameter.
The bug was discovered 04/09/2001. The weakness was disclosed 06/18/2001 (Website). The advisory is available at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2001-0420.
