A vulnerability was found in Oracle Internet Directory 2.1.1.0.0/3.0.1.1.0. It has been classified as critical. Affected is some unknown functionality of the component LDAP Server. Buffer overflow vulnerabilities in Oracle Internet Directory Server (LDAP) 2.1.1.x and 3.0.1 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code, as demonstrated by the PROTOS LDAPv3 test suite.
The weakness was presented 07/16/2001 with CERT as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). The advisory is available at kb.cert.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2001-0975.
