A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in killport Package up to 1.0.1. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-77. The product constructs all or part of a command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The weakness was shared 03/22/2021 as SNYK-JS-KILLPORT-1078535. The advisory is shared for download at snyk.io. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2021-23360. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1202.
