A vulnerability was found in Jason Rahaim Mp3mystic 1.0/1.0.1/1.0.3/1.0.4 and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown processing of the component URL Handler. Directory traversal vulnerability in MP3Mystic prior to 1.04b3 allows a remote attacker to download arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the URL.
The bug was discovered 05/07/2001. The weakness was disclosed 05/07/2001 by nemesystm (Website). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2001-0574. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
