A vulnerability was found in Easyscripts Easynews 1.5. It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown functionality of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument zeit with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the comments action in index.php in easyNews 1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the zeit parameter.
