A vulnerability, which was classified as very critical, has been found in Cgiscript.net csSearch 2.3. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file csSearch.cgi of the component Save Setup Handler. The manipulation of the argument setup with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. csSearch.cgi in csSearch 2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary Perl code via the savesetup command and the setup parameter, which overwrites the setup.cgi configuration file that is loaded by csSearch.cgi.
