CGIscript.net csMailto.cgi program allows remote attackers to use csMailto as a "spam proxy" and send mail to arbitrary users via modified (1) form-to, (2) form-from, and (3) form-results parameters.
The bug was discovered 04/23/2002. The weakness was disclosed 08/12/2002 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2002-0751. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
