A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in uClibc and uClibc-ng up to 1.0.38. This affects the function gethostbyname/getaddrinfo/gethostbyaddr/getnameinfo of the component Domain Name Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-74.
