The decoder for Macromedia Shockwave Flash allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a malformed SWF header that contains more data than the specified length.
The weakness was disclosed 08/12/2002 by eEye Digital Security with eEye Digital Security (Website). The advisory is available at macromedia.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2002-0846.
