Details
A vulnerability was found in Jon Hedley Alienform2 1.5. It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown code block of the file af.cgi/alienform.cgi. The manipulation of the argument _browser_out/_out_file with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, and integrity. CVE summarizes:
