A vulnerability was found in GeekLog 1.3.5 (Blog Software). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the file index.php/comment.php. The manipulation of the argument url/topic/title with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. Cross-site scripting vulnerabilities in GeekLog 1.3.5 and earlier allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary script via (1) the url variable in the Link field of a calendar event, (2) the topic parameter in index.php, or (3) the title parameter in comment.php.
The weakness was presented 10/04/2002 by Ahmet Sabri Alper (Website). The advisory is available at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2002-0962.
