A vulnerability was found in Working Resources Inc. BadBlue 1.7.3 Enterprise/1.7.3 Personal. It has been rated as critical. BadBlue server allows remote attackers to read restricted files, such as EXT.INI, via an HTTP request that contains a hex-encoded null byte.

The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
