MidiCart PHP, PHP Plus, and PHP Maxi allows remote attackers to (1) upload arbitrary php files via a direct request to admin/upload.php or (2) access sensitive information via a direct request to admin/credit_card_info.php.
The weakness was released 12/31/2002 by Frog Man as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2002-1798 since 06/29/2005. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
