Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in codeparse.php in Open Bulletin Board (OpenBB) 1.0.0 RC3 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) myhome.php, (2) an onerror attribute in an IMG tag (a variant of CVE-2002-0330), or (3) a glow tag.

The bug was discovered 02/25/2002. The weakness was disclosed 12/31/2002 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2002-1829 since 06/29/2005. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
