A vulnerability was found in Teekai Tracking Online 1.0 and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file userlog.php. The manipulation of the argument id with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in userlog.php in TeeKai Tracking Online 1.0 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the id parameter.
The bug was discovered 06/03/2002. The weakness was disclosed 12/31/2002 (Website). The advisory is shared at marc.theaimsgroup.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2002-2055 since 07/14/2005. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.

The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 10705 (Teekai's Tracking Online Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability).
