A vulnerability was found in w-Agora 4.1.5 (Content Management System). It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown part of the file editform.php of the component Form Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Cross-site scripting vulnerability (XSS) in editform.php for w-Agora 4.1.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary web script via an arbitrary form field name containing the script, which is echoed back to the user when displaying the form.

The bug was discovered 12/19/2002. The weakness was released 12/31/2002 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2002-2129 since 11/16/2005. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
