Telindus 1100 ASDL router running firmware 6.0.x uses weak encryption for UDP session traffic, which allows remote attackers to gain unauthorized access by sniffing and decrypting the administrative password.
The weakness was published 12/28/2002 by Elia Florio as not defined posting (Bugtraq). It is possible to read the advisory at archives.neohapsis.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2002-2133 since 11/16/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
