A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Samba up to 2.2a (File Transfer Software). Affected by this issue is the function enum_csc_policy data. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-119. Samba before 2.2.5 does not properly terminate the enum_csc_policy data structure, which may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a buffer overflow attack.
