A vulnerability was found in matio up to 1.5.21. It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is the function Mat_VarReadNextInfo5 of the file mat5.c of the component File Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory leak vulnerability.
