A vulnerability has been found in BEA WebLogic 6.1/7.0 (Application Server Software) and classified as critical. By design, BEA WebLogic Server and WebLogic Express 7.0 and 6.1, when creating multiple domains from the same WebLogic instance on the same machine, allows administrators of any created domain to access other created domains, which could allow administrators to gain privileges that were not intended.
The bug was discovered 01/23/2006. The weakness was released 01/24/2006 by vlet with BEA Systems (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at dev2dev.bea.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2006-0421 since 01/25/2006. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1555 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
