A vulnerability was found in Ilia Alshanetsky FUDforum 1.2.8/1.9.8/2.0.2 (Forum Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown part of the file tmp_view.php. tmp_view.php in FUDforum before 2.2.0 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via an absolute pathname in the file parameter.
The bug was discovered 08/18/2002. The weakness was published 04/11/2003 by Ulf Harnhammar as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at online.securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2002-1423. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
